So, I simply drilled a hole through the mast plate and pinned it to the mast with a bolt. I've seen where folks are using the DXE saddle clamps, but something has changed as the saddle clamps will never fit anymore, no way. LOTS of nuts and bolts, surprising for a two element beam.
